Jesus found Michael in a little international school in the heart of Taiwan, and he hasn’t been able to shake him off since. He therefore sees following Christ as the most compelling and transformative thing to give one’s life to, and longs for others to join in on this. He serves as the campus pastor for Tapestry Nights. He is here to dispense God’s gift of words to offer grace and guidance for persons on the Way of Jesus.

Michael holds a M.Div from Regent College, along with a B.Ed in secondary education and a B.A. in history from UBC.

Things Michael enjoy include: reading, basketball, pickleball, tacos, Saint Augustine, and finding God’s grace in surprising places. 

Michael is married to his high school sweetheart Kristi and they have two delightful little kids named Eden and Zion. You can often find them (adults included) playing at the park and going down the biggest slide possible, or around a table enjoying a meal with friends.
