Women’s Cohorts

Various women’s events happen throughout the year as a means for women to socialize, connect, and have fun with one another. These events are a good opportunity for connection without the commitment of joining a cohort . Women both in and outside Tap Nights are welcome at these events. Past women’s events include: easy hikes, curling, and brunch

Women’s Events

The primary pathway of ministry amoung women at Tap Nights occurs through cohorts. Cohorts are small groups that gather for a distinct season and over a particular topic. Here are some intentions and rhythms that occur around women’s cohorts in particular:

  • the invitation for women to join a cohort is offered every September. The women’s leadership team then places everyone who has signed up into smaller groups, with each group having a leader/co-leaders. These groups then journey together for the next 10 months.

  • for the sake of groups having the opportunity to grow together, cohorts don’t take new participants throughout the year.

  • cohort’s gather once a month on a Friday night in someone’s home

  • each year a book or podcast series is chosen that each cohort uses as a springboard for conversation. Past content has included: Try Softer by Aundi Kolber, Liturgy of the Ordinary by Tish Harrison-Warren and The Gifts of Imperfection by Brene Brown.
