Spiritual maturity in Christ is formed not in abstract beliefs but in everyday relationships—marriage, parenting, and work—especially where power is uneven, as we learn to live faithfully under Christ as the true Lord. By reinterpreting these relationships through Christ’s authority, Paul invites believers to use whatever power they have to show love, justice, and humility, allowing God to transform both the beauty and brokenness of their daily lives.
