Pastor Michael invites us into the movie Inside Out 2 as part of this year’s Oscar Saturday. There is beauty, goodness, truth that emerge out of this movie. In particular, the movie shows us the proper place anxiety has in our life as we cultivate a sense of self. And yet, our sense of self cannot be held or sustained by our selves. Therefore the gospel of Jesus shows us how healing and flourishing comes from outside in, more than inside out.
